Trigger messages

Triggers messages are internal messages that notify a participant when an action is complete. For example when a student completes an assessment, a message will be sent to the assessors email address advising them that they have an assignment to mark. Tutis also gives you the option to customize these messages. There are three Tabs in this section;

  • Trigger Messages
  • Scheduled Messages
  • System Triggers.

Step-by-step guide for adding a Trigger Message

  1. Navigate to Setup > Trigger Messages
  2. Select 'Add'
  3. Select a trigger from the dropdown list. If you wish the email to be sent be sure to check the Send Email checkbox. You can then enter the email to be sent in the field provided.
  4. Go to the recipients tab and add persons’ profiles or special conditions to which the message will be sent.
  5. Select 'Save' when the message is complete.

Example:

Dear: %participant%,
