Profiles

Profiles relate to group of permissions to which you can assign to a user. Examples of this are your trainers and assessor or your admin staff members. These profiles will have different tasks within Tutis so therefore require different permissions.

The pathway to permissions is Setup>Profiles

You will see three tabs here.

  • Profiles
  • Permissions
  • Users Lookup


Profiles you can View or Add.

To view Highlight the profile and click on view.

Permissions

Permissions allows you control over what users can and cant see and do in the system.

Step-by-step guide to adding permissions


  1. Navigate to Setup > Profiles
  2. Select 'Add'


  3. By selecting 'Default Profile' this profile will be automatically assigned to new users created in the system. Sub-profiles can be added to whomever gets this profile will also get the sub-profile.


  4. Navigate to the Permissions tab and start adding your permissions to the profile.


Users Lookup

To view what User are assigned Permissions, navigate to the Users Lookup Tab.


List - They will be able to see the object

View - They will be able to highlight and view the object

Add - They will be able to add new objects

Edit - They will be able to edit already created objects

Archive - They will be able to archive the object

Unarchive - They will be able to unarchive the object
